Registration
How do I register?
Registration is completed online through our registration portal. Simply visit our registration page, select the program and classes you’re interested in, and follow the prompts to complete enrollment. If you’re unsure which class is the right fit, we’re happy to help!
Can I register after the season has already started?
Yes! Registration remains open throughout the season as long as space is available in the desired class. Please note that students who enroll later in the season may not be eligible to participate in the Spring Showcase, as choreography and costume orders may already be underway. Contact us to see what classes and programs are currently accepting new students.
Can my child try a class before committing?
Yes! We encourage new students to try a class and experience the Synergy environment before committing to the full season. Trial class availability may vary by program and class, so please contact us to find out what options are currently available.
Tuition & Payments
How much does tuition cost?
Tuition is based on the length of the class. A 30-minute class is $32.50 per month, and a one-hour class is $65.00 per month. Tuition rates may vary for programs or classes with different formats or schedules.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due on the first of each month and is automatically processed using the card or bank account on file. A $10 late fee will be applied to any overdue balance on the 15th of each month.
Are there registration fees?
Yes. A $50.00 registration fee is required for each student at the time of enrollment. This is a one-time fee for the current season.
What other costs should I expect?
In addition to tuition and the registration fee, students may need class attire, shoes, or other program-specific items. Additional costs may also apply for performances, including costumes or other production-related expenses when applicable. Specific requirements and costs will be communicated by program and throughout the season.
Classes & Program Information
What ages do you offer classes for?
Synergy offers programs for students ages 1.5 and up! With classes and programs designed for a variety of ages, experience levels, and interests, there’s a place for everyone at Synergy.
Do I need previous experience to join Synergy?
No! Synergy welcomes students with a variety of experience levels. Whether your student is brand new to their chosen program or has years of experience, we’ll help them find a class that is appropriate for their age, experience and individual goals.
What should my student wear to class?
Class attire varies by program. Dance students should wear the required class leotard, tights, and appropriate dance shoes for their style. Acro students should wear fitted athletic clothing that allows for comfortable and unrestricted movement. Musical Theater, Synergy Stars, and Adult Hip-Hop students should wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear that allows them to move freely and participate fully in class.
What shoes or equipment does my student need?
Required shoes and equipment vary by program and class. Dance students will need the appropriate shoes for each style, such as ballet shoes, tap shoes, jazz shoes, or hip-hop shoes. Acro students do not require special shoes but should have appropriate fitted athletic wear for class. Musical Theater, Synergy Stars, and Adult Hip-Hop students should wear comfortable footwear that allows them to move safely and participate fully. Specific requirements will be provided upon enrollment.
What happens if my student misses a class?
If your student is unable to attend a scheduled class, please complete our Report an Absence form to let us know. Missed classes cannot be made up or credited toward future tuition.
Can my student switch classes or programs?
Absolutely! We want every student to feel confident, comfortable, and excited about their experience at Synergy. If you feel another class or program may be a better fit, please reach out to us. We’re happy to discuss options and help find the right fit based on your student’s age, experience, interests and individual needs.
Showcase & Performances
Does every student participate in a spring performance?
Performance opportunities vary by program. Spring performances are a special part of the Synergy experience, and students are included unless we are notified otherwise. Our dance students have the opportunity to participate in Synergy’s annual Spring Dance Showcase, while Musical Theater students have the opportunity to take part in our annual Spring Musical. Performance opportunities for other programs may vary throughout the season. Participation is not mandatory, and additional costs may apply depending on the program and performance opportunity.
What should I expect from Synergy’s Spring Showcase or Musical?
Our spring performances are a special opportunity for students to share what they have learned and celebrate their growth throughout the season. Dance students take the stage in our annual Spring Dance Showcase, while Musical Theater students have the opportunity to perform in our annual Spring Musical. Families will receive performance details, schedules, rehearsal information and any applicable requirements as the performance approaches.
Are there additional costs for performances?
Yes. Additional costs may apply for our spring performance opportunities. These costs help offset production expenses such as facility rental, staffing, costumes when applicable, and other performance-related expenses. Families will be provided with specific cost information and details as the performance approaches.
