Rosalynn “Roz” Miller
Owner and Artistic Dance Director
Roz is the Owner and Artistic Dance Director of Synergy Performing Arts Academy. She graduated from Point Park University with a dual concentration in Jazz Dance and Dance Pedagogy and has dedicated her career to dance education, studio leadership, and developing the next generation of performers.
Roz is a member of Dance Masters of America (PA Chapter 10) and Dance Educators of America (Pittsburgh Chapter). Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her contributions to dance education, including being named “Dance Educator of the Year” by GROOVE Dance Competition. She has also presented business seminars at the Dance Teacher Summit in New York City and has served as a judge for Showbiz National Talent Competition, On Stage America and The guiDANCE Experience.
Passionate about creating safe, positive, and empowering environments for young performers, Roz is a YPAD-certified teacher and judge and serves on the YPAD (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance) Advisory Board. She believes strongly in educating the whole dancer and creating opportunities for students to develop not only their technique and artistry, but also their confidence, character and love of the performing arts.
As the Artistic Dance Director of Synergy, Roz is committed to maintaining a high standard of education while creating an environment where every student is challenged to grow, supported in their individual journey and encouraged to find their place within the Synergy family.
Outside of the studio, Roz enjoys spending time with her family and making memories with her son, Cruz.
Mallorie Baker
Studio Coordinator, Dance Instructor & Choreographer and Assistant Musical Theater Director
Mallorie graduated from Point Park University with a degree in Dance, concentrating in Ballet, and a minor in Mathematics. Mallorie has been dancing since the age of three and has been teaching at Synergy since 2014, bringing years of experience and a lifelong passion for dance and performing arts to her students.
As an educator, Mallorie is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where every student feels encouraged to grow, build confidence, and discover their own love of the performing arts. She is also a YPAD-certified teacher and believes strongly in creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering experience for every student who walks through Synergy’s doors.
Outside of the studio, Mallorie is a proud mom to three beautiful daughters. Together, they love visiting the zoo, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places as a family.

Jennie Van Mastrigt
Musical Theater Director
Jen is Synergy Performing Arts Academy’s Musical Theater Director and brings over 20 years of experience teaching voice and musical theater. She earned her Master’s degree in Voice Performance from Boston University and has had the opportunity to perform with the Boston Pops.
Passionate about helping performers find their voice and confidence, Jen loves creating an encouraging environment where students can grow as singers, actors and performers. Her experience in both performance and education allows her to bring a unique perspective to Synergy’s Musical Theater program.
Olivia Lannin
Dance Instructor & Choreographer
Olivia graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, with a degree in Psychology and minors in Music Business and Creative Writing. During college, she was an ensemble dancer with the Belmont University Dance Company, where she studied tap, ballet, jazz and modern dance. She also served as Vice President of IGNITE Belmont Dance Team, choreographing for collegiate competitions, basketball games, fundraisers and dance videography.
A Synergy Dance Company alumna, Olivia was a Synergy Elite dancer, student assistant, and substitute teacher, with tap always holding a special place in her heart. Outside of Synergy, Olivia works as an EMT, writes and performs music and enjoys spending time with her pets.
Adrian Green
Dance Instructor & Choreographer
Adrian Green is a multidisciplinary dance artist, choreographer, and published poet from Fort Worth, Texas. He began his classical dance training at 15 and went on to attend summer programs with organizations including The Royal Ballet School, Kansas City Ballet, and the Glenda Brown Choreography Project.
Adrian graduated from Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts with a B.F.A. in Dance, concentrating in Ballet. He has performed professionally with Texture Contemporary Ballet and as a guest artist throughout the Pittsburgh area, and has choreographed original classical and contemporary works for companies, studios, schools and competitions.
Outside of dance, Adrian is a published poet and enjoys creating and sharing his work.
