Junior Academy Dance
Grades 5+
Synergy’s Junior Academy challenges dancers to grow in tap, ballet, jazz, and hip-hop while developing stronger technique, artistry, confidence, and a deeper passion for dance.
What will my child learn?
Dance Technique
Your dancer will continue developing technique in tap, ballet, jazz, and hip-hop while building strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness.
Musicality
Your dancer will develop a stronger understanding of rhythm, timing, musical interpretation, and how movement connects to the music.
Confidence
Your dancer will build confidence and independence by challenging themselves, setting goals, and taking ownership of their growth as a dancer.
Performance Skills
Your dancer will develop stage presence, expression, artistry, and the ability to perform choreography with intention and confidence.
Teamwork
Your dancer will learn to collaborate, support their peers, and contribute positively to the Synergy family both in and outside the studio.

Additional Costs & Requirements
Registration Fee
- A one-time registration fee is required upon enrollment.
Class Attire & Shoes
- Dancers will need a class leotard and appropriate dance shoes for their program. Specific attire and shoe requirements will be provided upon registration.
Spring Showcase
- Dancers have the opportunity to participate in Synergy’s annual Spring Dance Showcase. Participation is optional, and additional costs, including the showcase costume, will apply to dancers who choose to participate.
